Licensed Acupuncturist & Herbalist
Annette believes in meeting each person exactly where they are on their healing journey. With a gentle, intuitive approach, she weaves together the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern understanding of the body to support balance, resilience, and vitality.
Her specialties include women’s health (from first menstrual cycles to menopause), fertility support, stress and anxiety care, sleep disorders, digestive wellness, and pain relief. Annette is especially passionate about helping people reconnect with their bodies in times of transition—whether that’s stepping into motherhood, navigating hormonal shifts, or simply seeking more energy and ease in daily life.
At Acupuncture Mama, Annette brings not only skill and experience, but also warmth and presence. Her treatments are a space to rest, reset, and feel truly cared for.
When she’s not in the clinic, Annette enjoys time in nature, hiking, reading and hanging out with her teenage son (when he allows it haha).

Andrew is a licensed acupuncturist, massage therapist, and qigong/meditation instructor. He lives with his wife, Nalina, and son, Theo, in Healdsburg, while his son goes to Summerfield Waldorf School and Farm. Originally from the Chicago suburbs, Andrew graduated from Indiana University with a concentration in nonprofit business management. He worked as a professional fundraiser in Chicago, IL, and as the director of development for several environmental nonprofits in Anchorage, AK. While in Alaska Andrew fell in love with the healing arts, and then spent many years exclusively studying Taoism and training in tai chi, qigong energy healing, and massage therapy.
After moving to Santa Cruz, CA to study Chinese medicine and acupuncture at Five Branches University, Andrew spent seven years training in Zen Buddhism and Chen style tai chi, and another seven years practicing meditation and somatic therapy in a lineage of Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhism.
For the past six years, Andrew has been working exclusively in Silicon Valley for Apple’s Corporate Wellness Centers where he has spent ample time treating musculoskeletal pain, and working in the realm of women’s health and fertility.
Andrew’s approach to bodywork, acupuncture and the healing arts now reflects a deep reverence and respect for the innate wisdom of the body-mind (or, ‘Soma’), and her inherent capability to forever provide the most fertile soil from which our truest healing journey can unfold. Andrew and his family love spending time at the beach or on the Russian river. In his spare time, he also plays the Shakuhachi Japanese bamboo flute.
